Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, with reference to her Department's press release of 17 May 2022, Government hits goal to see a million more disabled people in work, whether her Department plans to set a new goal to further build on that increase.

Now the one million goal has been met, we will be considering what a new stretching ambition should be, to continue to galvanise action across and outside of Government. This will ensure that increasing disabled people’s participation in the labour market is a shared ambition across society. The Government’s commitment to reducing the disability employment gap remains.
