Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:
To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, what assessment he has made of the potential merits of extending the remit of the Groceries Code Adjudicator to cover support for small businesses and farmers that supply supermarkets.

The Department is in the process of analysing the responses to the Call for Evidence to extend the Groceries Code Adjudicator remit. We will publish the outcome to the Call for Evidence, jointly with Defra, in the autumn.
