In November 2015, 1.4% of full-time equivalent teachers employed in state funded schools in Sheffield were aged 60 and over. This compares with 1.7% of teachers in Yorkshire and 2.3% of teachers in England.

These figures are derived from the November 2015 School Workforce Census.
