Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment she has made of the potential merits of bringing outsourced NHS workers back in house.

The National Health Service adopts different approaches to securing an effective workforce to respond to a variety of situations. Both insourcing and outsourcing remain legitimate resourcing strategies and should be undertaken in line with established best practice.
