Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, whether he has discussed with Cabinet colleagues the impact of toxic air pollution particles on the lungs, livers and brains of unborn babies.

This specific issue has not been discussed during the Secretary of State’s initial discussions with Cabinet colleagues. HM Government recognises the importance of protecting people and the environment from the effects of air pollution.
