Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, how many security passes giving access to his Department's premises are currently valid.

For operational reasons, the FCO does not provide data on the number of valid security passes. However, valid passes are issued to many individuals, including those who are employed directly inside FCO buildings in the UK and for those individuals who do not work directly inside the FCO but who need regular access. This latter group includes members of the Emergency Services and personnel employed within the Royal Household.
