Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, what financial support his Department plans to offer to help non-fuel poor households make their homes warmer and more energy efficient from 2018.

The Energy Company Obligation, worth £640m per year, offers financial support for energy efficiency with around 30% of support being open to all households. Decisions for the successor to the current Energy Company Obligation from October 2018 will be subject to public consultation later this year.
