Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, how much of the £900 million for shovel ready projects will be spent on digital infrastructure in (a) 2020-21 and (b) 2021-22.

Through the Getting Building Fund we are investing £900 million in a wide range of infrastructure projects to stimulate job creation, and support economic recovery. We have provided all Mayoral Combined Authorities and Local Enterprise Partnerships with a funding allocation and are working with them over the coming weeks to agree the projects which the Fund will support so that delivery can get underway as soon as possible.
