To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, what assessment he has made on the potential effect on Ukraine of the US lifting sanctions on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.

The UK remains concerned about the impact Nord Stream 2 will have on European energy security and particularly on the interests of Ukraine. Our focus continues to be supporting resilient European energy markets, including measures that diversify energy supply. The UK offers a full range of military, security, economic, political and governance support to Ukraine.
