Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many people have been diagnosed with amyloidosis in each of the last five years.


This question was answered on 26th April 2017

The Department does not hold data on the number of patients diagnosed with amyloidosis.

The National Amyloidosis Centre at University College Hospital, London estimates that there are around 600 new cases of the condition each year.
