Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, on how many occasions (a) he and (b) a Minister in his Department has met a representative of the Youth Justice Board for England and Wales in the past 12 months.
This question was answered on 21st December 2023
Ministers and senior officials continue to work and engage closely with leaders across the youth secure estate, in a variety of forums and ways, including but not limited to on-site visits.
The Minister with responsibility for prisons and probation met with members of the Youth Justice Board on seven occasions during the past 12 months.
