Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, how much of the £19.9m settlement has been paid to Mau Mau veterans since the announcement of the scheme in 2013?

It is a matter for the Mau Mau veterans' legal representatives. Leigh Day solicitors and their clients were responsible for the individual allocations of the global sum settlement of £19.9 million from the UK Government.
