To ask the Secretary of State for Education, how many three and four-year olds benefited from the early years pupil premium in (a) 2016-17 and (b) 2015-16.

The number of 3- and 4-year-old children claiming the early years pupil premium in 2017 is available within Table 14LA on the Department’s website at
