Question to the Department for International Trade:

To ask the Secretary of State for International Trade, what proportion of international trade and exporting advice services provided by his Department has been subcontracted to private businesses.

The Department for International Trade operates a mixed economy of civil servants, third sector and private sector partners in the UK and in post. It elects its partners for specific services based on requirements and the organisation best placed to deliver them.
