Question to the Department for International Trade:
To ask the Secretary of State for International Trade, what the total operating budget of the (a) Export Control Joint Unit and (b) Export Control Organisation was in the most recent year for which figures are available.

The Export Control Joint Unit (ECJU) is funded by the contributing departments through their own budgets. The Department for International Trade provides the office space, with each department funding its own staff and IT systems. As such there is no specific operating budget.
The annual operating budget for DIT’s Export Control Organisation in 2016/17 was £3.2m.
