Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, how many fines HMRC have issued for breaches of the UK arms export regime since June 2022; and how much each of those fines has been.

HMRC has issued 11 compound settlements from June 2022 to date for breaches of the UK arms export regime. The values for each of those settlements are as follows:

  • Military Listed goods - £271,700.25, £2,700.00 and £5,300.00
  • Dual Use/Military Listed goods – £6,935.44
  • Dual Use goods - £2,700.00, £1,000.00, £19,637.84, £9,828.83, £19,689.20, £56,708.71 and £8,664.81
