Question to the Department for Education:
To ask the Secretary of State for Education, pursuant to the oral Answer of the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Work and Pensions of 6 July 2017, Official Report, column 1297, on the number of people over 60-years old who started apprenticeships, how many of those people were (a) men and (b) women.
The table below shows apprenticeship starts by gender for learners aged 60 and over for the available academic years (2011/12 to 2015/16).
Data for the 2016/17 academic year shows starts covering the year reported to date - August 2016 to April 2017.
