Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, pursuant to the oral contribution of the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Work and Pensions of 5 July 2017, Official Report, column 143WH, on apprenticeships opportunities, how many women over 59-years old her Department estimates will start apprenticeships in each year to 2020-21.

The department has made estimates of the overall numbers of apprenticeships in future years but does not have a breakdown either by gender or by age.
