Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, how many meetings his Department has had with representatives of the care sector on the payment of sleep-in shifts for care workers.

Over the past year, I have held four meetings with representatives of social care providers as well as representatives of care workers. Departmental officials have also had a number of meetings with representatives of both care providers and workers.
