Question to the Department for Education:
To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what steps the Government is taking to recruit a specialist, highly-trained early years workforce.
This question was answered on 30th June 2017
On 3 March 2017, my department published its Early Years Workforce Strategy, setting out actions to support the development of a well-qualified workforce with the appropriate knowledge, skills and experience to deliver high quality early education and childcare for children from birth to age five.
