The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) has made significant progress in developing
the government’s ability to disrupt cyber threats. Four Active Cyber Defence services are
currently live and free at the point of use for the public sector. These provide measures to
defeat a significant proportion of commodity attacks that affect UK interests. Next year the
NCSC will be scaling these services and developing models to make them more widely
available to public and private sector organisations.
