The Government's COVID-19 response continues to be driven by the latest available data and scientific evidence, including advice from the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE) and its sub-groups. While SAGE provides advice on the potential impacts of ‘Plan B’ measures, the decision on whether to apply them rests with Ministers.
