Earlier this year, we launched a public call for evidence on long term support for mental health, wellbeing and suicide prevention. The call for evidence sought views on promoting positive mental wellbeing and preventing the onset of mental ill-health to inform future approaches to public mental health. We received over 5,000 submissions and we are currently reviewing the responses. Through the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities, we aim to address the social determinants of poor mental health and health inequalities.
