Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how many working-age claimants of benefits were non-UK nationals when they registered for a National Insurance number.

Statistics on the Nationality at point of National Insurance number registration of DWP working age benefit recipients are only available to November 2020. Publication of these statistics has been discontinued and to provide more recent data would incur disproportionate cost.
