Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, when he expects to publish a response to the public consultation on the Housing White Paper.

We are analysing responses to our consultation on the Housing White Paper and hope to publish our response shortly.

We will consult soon on a new standardised approach to assessing local housing need. We recognise that this consultation will need to be read alongside our other White Paper proposals and do not expect to publish our response to the Housing White Paper consultation until the completion of this further consultation.
