Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, what steps he is taking to ensure a secure supply of helium for use in the British science, manufacturing and defence industries.

We appreciate that helium is a key resource for some businesses and science laboratories and is critical for a number of products that are of importance, for example, in both the health and defence sectors and the need to manage the risks. We continually monitor the supply situation.
