Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what steps she is taking to ensure that people leaving Manston Immigration Processing Center are provided with (a) food and (b) warm clothing.
Our reception and processing facilities provide suitable welfare provisions, including hot food, fresh clothing, toilet facilities, sanitary packs and medical care. The welfare of those in our care is of the utmost importance and people are only released from Manston when we have assurances that they have accommodation to go to.
