Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what steps his Department is taking to enable women with high risk pregnancies to access remote monitoring of their pregnancy in the event that they do not have access to the internet.
The National Health Service has made appropriate arrangements to meet the needs of monitoring all expectant mothers, including offering alternatives to virtual consultation in cases of no internet access. These can include home visits, face-to-face hospital appointments and telephone consultations.
