Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, what estimate his Department has made of the number of (a) children and (b) families in overcrowded accommodation in England.

Data on overcrowding by household type can be found in the English Housing Surveys Private rented sector report, 2019-20.
