Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many full time equivalent staff are working on his Department's investigation into the North East Ambulance Service.

I have Ministerial responsibility for investigating the concerns raised related to the North East Ambulance Service. We are working with NHS England and NHS Improvement to determine the appropriate next steps and further information will be available in due course.
