Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether operations have taken place in the UK using animal organs for transplants.
This question was answered on 7th December 2021
NHS Blood and Transplant is not aware of any animal organ being transplanted into a human within the United Kingdom.
