Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what guidance her Department has issued to police forces on the use of mobile facial recognition software.
This question was answered on 12th September 2017
The Home Office Centre for Applied Science and Technology (CAST) issued guidance to police forces in November 2012. Since then, CAST has provided further advice to those forces which request it.
