To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment he has made of the additional costs incurred as a result of long term disability caused by stroke during the covid-19 pandemic.

No assessment has been made. The NHS Long Term Plan committed to make stroke rehabilitation more integrated, intensive and more frequently delivered out of hospital. We are investing in the improvement of community-based stroke rehabilitation services to reduce cost associated with the impact of stroke
