Since 2004, the Department has awarded 107 contracts to the University of York, of which 105 are entirely research based. The total value of all contracts is £92.96 million. Information prior to 2004 is not held.

Since 2007 the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has awarded 10 contracts to the University of York (this figure includes six contracts awarded to York Health Economics Consortium, which is based at the University). The total value of these contracts is £1.16 million. NICE does not hold information relating to contracts awarded prior to 2007.
