Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:
To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, whether the publication of data on people who have died whilst waiting for a decision about a social security claim will be back-dated to the last available date of November 2011.
The Department published out-of-work benefits mortality statistics on 27 August which cover the period from March 2003 to February 2014:
The Department also published additional mortality statistics for Employment and Support Allowance, Incapacity benefit and Severe Disablement Allowance claimants on 27 August which cover the period from December 2011 to February 2014:
