The NHS Five Year Forward View committed to ensuring that hospital patients will have access to seven day services where this makes a clinical difference to outcomes. We will back the NHS Five Year Forward View and increase National Health Service funding by £10 billion per annum, above inflation, by 2020-21. This is a real terms funding increase of £8 billion, in addition to the £2 billion for 2015-16 announced at Autumn Statement 2014.
