Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, whether there will be fewer total daily services on Southern Eastern Railway's as a result of planned changes to its timetable of services from December 2022.
Southeastern’s new timetable to be introduced in December 2022 will have slightly fewer services compared to the current timetable but provides more capacity where it is needed. There will be less than 1% fewer typical weekday passenger services across the SouthEastern network compared to the current timetable. These changes will help to rebalance between different routes to meet changes in demand.
