Information on the number of police forces in the UK which have adopted GRT engagement strategies, GRT liaison officers and points of contact for engagement, is not held centrally by the Home Office.

It remains vital that each police force across England and Wales engages and works with their local communities including GRT groups. It is an operational matter for Chief Constables of each police force to consider how best to meet the needs of their local communities, based on their local knowledge and expertise.
