Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many prescriptions for anti-depressants were issued in each year for which data is available.
This question was answered on 27th June 2017
Information is not collected centrally on the number of prescriptions issued. However, information is available on the number of prescription items dispensed for antidepressants and is given in the attached table.
