Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many Fixed Penalty Notices have been issued to people returning from countries that are not included in the Government's travel corridors.
Border Force can issue fixed penalty notices (FPN) to passengers who have failed to complete the Passenger Locator Form (PLF) on arrival. The approach has been to use 4Es (engage, explain, encourage and enforce) to deal with arriving passengers who have not completed the PLF.
To date a total number of 11 fixed penalty notices have been issued.
For PLF completion Border Force do not distinguish between passengers arriving from exempt and non-exempt countries, so it is not possible to break down the FPN data further.
