Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, whether his Department is taking steps to help local authorities increase the number of (a) affordable and (b) social housing.

This Government continues to be fully committed to increasing the supply of all housing. We have given local authorities the tools to deliver both social and affordable housing.
