Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Pursuant to the Answer of 7th November 2022 to Question 75899 on Housing: Sefton Central, what discussion he has held with the Chancellor of the Exchequer on the progress of the Green Heat Networks Fund.

My Rt. Hon. Friend the Secretary of State has had no discussions with my Rt. Hon. Friend Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer on the Green Heat Network Fund (GHNF) to date. His officials have regular contact with their counterparts at HM Treasury about the progress of the GHNF. The GHNF is also part of the Government Major Projects Portfolio where progress is regularly monitored and progress published annually.
