We are supporting life-saving humanitarian assistance through the UN and NGOs, who are working hard to ensure assistance reaches those who need it most. On 1 November, the UK's Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation issued new guidance (https://ofsi.blog.gov.uk/2021/11/01/ofsi-updates-charity-sector-guidance/ ) to the charity sector on operating in Afghanistan. The UK government is working closely with the UN and NGOs to ensure that UK aid benefits Afghans in need while implementing our international obligations.
