Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, if he will review as a matter of priority the guidance for exemptions from self-isolation to include people who are fully vaccinated and hold an EU Digital Covid Certificate.

On 9 December, the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (Self-Isolation) (England) Regulations 2020 were amended to extend exemptions to contacts with approved overseas vaccinations. The exemptions will apply to people fully vaccinated in European Union countries with an EU Digital COVID Certificate or can provide another recognised proof of vaccination.
