School Support Staff Negotiating Body

Question to the Department for Education:
To ask the Secretary of State for Education, if she will reinstate the School Support Staff Negotiating Body.
This question was answered on 10th June 2015
The pay and conditions of school support staff is determined locally. Schools should have flexibility over pay and conditions and the freedom to organise staff and resources in a way that reflects local priorities and needs.
It is not the policy of this government to reinstate the School Support Staff Negotiating Body (SSSNB). The SSSNB was abolished by the previous government in 2010.
