Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, if he will make it his policy to collect information on changes in the number of people claiming (a) jobseeker's allowance, (b) income support, (c) employment and support allowance and (d) carer's allowance following changes in the benefit cap.

We continually assess the statistics we publish to ensure that they include relevant information on the characteristics of capped households, their dependents and on the cap amounts associated with each household.
