Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many patients were recruited to clinical trials in each NHS Trust in (a) 2018, (b) 2019 and (c) 2020.

The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Clinical Research Network (CRN) supports the set-up and timely delivery of commercial and non-commercial studies in England. The number of people participating in research studies on the NIHR’s CRN portfolio is shown in the following table:
