Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many private companies have access to the Police National Computer; and how much accrued to the public purse from charges on such companies for access to that computer in each of the last three years.

There are three private companies, Post Office, Royal Mail and National Air Traffic Services who have access to the Police National Computer. The following amounts were accrued from such companies:

2014/15: £1982.21

2015/16: £3557.53

2016/17: £7384.14
