Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what categories of activity are considered to be Non-Crime Activity under the Police Allocation Formula; from where the data relating to such activities is drawn; and to what time period that data relates.

Information on the non-crime activities and the data it is based on is included in the existing Police Allocation Formula is published annually in the Police Grant Report for England and Wales, most recently in February 2017.

Population data was annually updated until 2010/11 since when forces have had their allocations of core Central Government funding reduced by the same percentage.
