Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what estimate he has made of the number of working age people economically inactive as a result of waiting for NHS treatment.

No formal assessment has been made. The Secretary of State for Health and Social Care has regular discussions with Cabinet colleagues on a range of issues relating to the health and care sector.
